Koshōshō (小少将) is one of the new characters introduced in Samurai Warriors 4. Historically Koshōshō was one of Motochika Chōsokabe's concubines and gave birth to one of his son's.

Role in the series[]

In Samurai Warriors 4, Koshōshō is known throughout the land as the 'Maid of Misfortune'. On multiple occasions she deceives men into doing her favors, such as the deceiving the Miyoshi into attacking the Shogun at the time, Yoshiaki Ashikaga in order to stop the Oda's advance throughout the land.

After failing the attack against against the Oda, Koshōshō sets her conquest towards Shikoku in which she deceives the warlords of Shikoku to resist the uprising Motochika Chōsokabe. After failing to stop Motochika, Koshōshō is amazed by his rebellious spirit whilst taken prisoner amd even though knowing Koshōshō's reputation, Motochika employs her into his ranks.

During Mitsuhide Akechi's rebellion against his former lord, Nobunaga Oda, Koshōshō aids Mitsuhide alongside Motochika at Honnoji.

After the death of Nobunaga Oda, Koshōshō remains with Motochika during Hideyoshi Toyotomi's invasion of Shikoku, and aids Motochika in his defense. After the Chōsokabe surrender to Hideyoshi, Koshōshō remains by Motochika's side, up till the events of Odawara Castle.

Hoping to make a difference Koshōshō sides with the Western army during the events of Sekigahara and alongside others she volunteers to aid the Toyotomi one last time at Osaka Castle.
